Is it just me, or does everyone turn the kitchen faucet to cold water when running the garbage disposal? If you have one.
I don’t know why I always think I should do that, but I always have. 
Is there a reason why it should be cold water? Or is hot water fine?

I thought it was cause of something with the pipes and all the food in there related to heat and such, but hey, I’m no plumber.
